Sloane Square Underground Map - Sloane Square is a small place on the border between Belgravia and Chelsea in London. It is named after Sir Hans Sloane, whose collection of curiosities was the start of the British Museum.
Square is located in the eastern end of Kings Road, and the southern end of Sloane Street. In the 1980s arose expression Sloane Rangers, a nickname for young members of the upper class who worked small but apparently had more than enough money.
The two main buildings of the square is the warehouse Pete Jones and Royal Court Theatre.
Square and the area has easy access to the subway station with Sloane Square served by both Circle and District line. River Westbourne is piped under the square; under this again goes underground.
